The Late Ruth Willemain
Ruth became a Hospice volunteer in 1999 and remained one until founding Harmony House of Western Massachusetts in 2007.

In 2019 she was awarded the Andrus Award from AARP Massachusetts, recognizing outstanding individuals who share their experience, talents and skills to enrich the lives of others.

Gina Mazza MBA, BSN
Gina has worked in the home health and hospice industry for the past 25 years in both the provider side and consulting side of the industry. Now, in addition to volunteering at Harmony House, she operates her own consulting business and is a Professor at Elms College teaching Healthcare Leadership courses to undergraduate and graduate students.

Vice President
Diane Dietzen, MD
Dr. Dietzen is a General Internist as well as a Hospice and Palliative Care provider by training. She is currently the Chief Medical Officer of the Veterans Home in Holyoke.
She very much supports the mission of Harmony House, as she has seen multiple patients at local hospitals who are in need of these kinds of support and resources. She is interested in promoting education and support for staff at the house, to provide ongoing excellent care.

Amy Corcoran
Amy began her journey with Harmony House's founder, Ruth Willemain, knowing that her passion for helping people would be beneficial to the work Harmony House was trying to accomplish. She has been a Harmony House Director since October 2014; serving as the Board’s President from 2015 to 2023. She works in Hospice at Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care in Holyoke.

Joyce Z. Thielen PhD, RN
Joyce has been a registered nurse for many years and has spent the majority of her career in higher education. She served as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Elms College, School of Nursing and was the founding director of the BSN Program at the University of Hartford.
She is now turning her attention to volunteer work at the Harmony House with the goal of improving the quality of life and ensuring dignity, for those at the end of their life.

Richard Rivet
Richard Rivet, “Rich”, is the owner/operator of Cedar Falls Construction and a dedicated community volunteer. Rich's commitment to service is evident through his extensive work throughout his adult life with veteran groups and not-for-profit organizations including completing the renovations to the Harmony House of Western MA. The Harmony House project is a testament to his love and respect for our founder, the late Ruth Willemain, and his dedication to ensuring the continuation of Harmony House's mission.

Win Whitcomb, MD
Win is a practicing internist and medical director at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds, MA. Previously, he was the founding chief medical officer of Remedy Partners, a value-based care company that grew to 49 states prior to merging with Signify Health (NYSE: SGFY), which was acquired by CVS in 2023. He is the founder of the Society of Hospital Medicine and served as its first co-president from 1997-1999.

Fran Moran. RN, BSN, MBA
Fran has been a registered nurse for several years. Her career was focused on Home Health, Home Infusion Therapy and Durable Medical Equipment. As a nurse executive, she concentrated on working with patients and their families, service providers and health insurance professionals to insure quality of care and service.
At this time, her professional career has turned to “giving back” to families and their loved ones as they journey towards a peaceful and safe end of life experience.
